1 DP for attending the compulsory briefing on 13 May

4 DA for every quality entry submission (individual)

1. Part I (2DA): An individual proposal for a simple and do-able environmental project in your community or school that addresses a specific environmental problem (proposal of max 1000 words)

2. Part 2 (2DA): Come up with a new or never-been-tried solution to the environmental problem you are addressing in your project proposal (essay of max 1000 words)

1 bonus DA for selection as one of top 20 entries from RP

And up to extra 7 DA for successful submissions!

AND the possibility of an all-expense paid international trip! You could be Singapore’s next representative in the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy in Germany or the Eco-Minds Youth Forum in New Zealand

Submission details

• Closing date for submission: 27 May (Tues), 5pm
• Please submit your entries as ONE word document
• Indicate your full name, student ID and contact no. in the document
• Name the document as your student ID (eg 70113.doc)
• Email your submission to Nabila_huda@rp.sg

You can participate if you:

- Are 17 to 24 years old

- Are a Singapore citizen or permanent resident (PR)

- Are interested in the environment

- Have a passport before 4 Jun 2008

The top 20 entries will be shortlisted and submitted to the Bayer national competition. The judges will then select the participants with the best entries to represent Singapore in Germany and New Zealand.
